Khorfakkan Waterfalls, Khorfakkan
The UAE is endowed with stunning natural landscapes, and government initiatives often enhance these experiences, making them even more appealing to tourists. The impressive features and amenities at Khorfakkan Waterfall exemplify how nature seamlessly blends with modern technology in the UAE. Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the man-made waterfall is situated on a natural cliff overlooking the Khorfakkan Corniche. Standing 43 meters above sea level, it spans 45 meters in length and 11 meters in width, with multiple openings allowing visitors to witness the cascading water from the top of the cave to the base of the mountain. Additionally, the top aperture offers panoramic views of Khorfakkan Beach.
Moreover, the cave boasts various amenities for visitors, including a café, restaurant, service room, and outdoor seating area. The centre can be booked by businesses for organizational meetings, while the restaurant and café accommodate over 80 guests with both indoor and outdoor seating. On a pleasant evening, there's no better way to unwind than sitting above the waterfall, marvelling at the beauty of the town below.
