Itinerary:

Day 01

Arrival in Colombo and transfer to Kandy:

On the first day of your Sri Lanka getaway, our representative will warmly welcome you in the arrival lounge. Your holiday kicks off with two captivating en-route visits. First, explore the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, dedicated to protecting and caring for orphaned wild elephants. Here, you can interact with these majestic creatures and participate in activities like bottle-feeding the baby elephants. Next, visit a Spice & Herbal Garden to learn about the diverse flora and the traditional uses of spices in Sri Lankan cuisine and Ayurvedic medicine.

You will then continue your journey to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a city of historical significance. After checking into your hotel, join our representative for a leisurely drive around Kandy Lake, built by the last Sinhalese king. This will be followed by visits to Kandy town and its bazaar. Experience the spiritual atmosphere of the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy a captivating cultural dance show. Your exploration concludes with a visit to the Gem Museum, showcasing the country’s famous gemstones. Finally, retire for the night at your accommodation.

Day 02

Departure from Kandy to Central Hills in Nuwara Eliya:

After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will head to the charming hill resort town of Nuwara Eliya, known for its cool climate and lush tea plantations. Along the way, you’ll visit several captivating sites, starting with the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a vast 14th-century garden home to numerous plant species, including orchids, medicinal plants, and rare trees.

Next, you’ll visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, a significant Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. You’ll also admire the impressive Ramboda Waterfalls and the lush beauty of the surrounding area. A stop at a Tea Factory and Tea Estate will give you insight into the region’s finest tea varieties and the tea production process.

Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, check in to your hotel and take in the stunning scenery of this premier hill resort. Later in the evening, you’ll visit some of the area’s top attractions, including Seetha Amman Temple, Gregory Lake and Lake Park, and Victoria Park.

Day 03

From the Misty Hills to Sun-kissed Shores of Bentota:

Today, after breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will head to the beautiful coastal town of Bentota. Along the way, enjoy marvelous stops at St. Clair’s and Devon Waterfalls, where the stunning natural beauty will leave you in awe. You’ll also visit Kitulgala for an exciting water rafting adventure.

Upon arriving in Bentota, check into your room and spend the rest of the day enjoying the breathtaking scenery where the Bentota River meets the Indian Ocean.

Day 04

Coastal Paradise Conitues to Mirissa:

After breakfast, get ready to explore the wonders of Bentota’s coastal paradise on a guided sightseeing tour. Your first stop will be the World Heritage Site of the Madhu River, where you’ll embark on a scenic cruise, taking in the beautiful surroundings. Next, visit the Turtle Hatchery to learn about the conservation efforts to protect endangered turtles.

For those seeking excitement, you can enjoy thrilling water sports activities on the Bentota River. Finally, take a whale-watching excursion in Mirissa to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. After a day filled with adventures, return to your hotel in Bentota for a relaxing overnight stay, cherishing the memorable moments of your exploration.

Day 05

End of a Joyous Tour — Back to Airport:

Following breakfast, proceed with the check-out process. Subsequently, rendezvous with our representative, who will collect you directly from your hotel and escort you to the airport. As you depart for home, you’ll take with you the enduring hospitality and warmth characteristic of this destination.
